Mind Itself is the World - And Mind Itself is Liberation

Image
Mind Itself is the World - And Mind Itself is Liberation This entire world has been created by the mind. That is why this world appears different to every living being. For a human, the world is according to his desires, his dreams and his fears. Whereas for an animal, the world is only according to hunger, sleep and fear. The world is one, but everyone's mind is different, therefore everyone's world is also different. To understand this fact itself is half of liberation. What is the mind When the Mind Becomes Everything When a person considers this world created by his own mind as 100% truth, then all problems begin. He thinks that this house, this money, this relationship, this respect is everything. As soon as he believes this, his desires, his longings never end. One desire is fulfilled and the mind creates another desire. The mind tells him - "Now if I get this, I will be happy." That thing is also attained, but the happiness ends in two days. Then the mind makes...

Don't Be a Fatalist, Be a Man of Effort - Because God Himself Sits Within You as You

Image
A person who believes in fate unknowingly drags his own life towards hell. The one who says at every step, "Everything is destiny, whatever is written in fate will happen," actually cuts the thread of his own life with his own hands. Such a person always remains subordinate to those who are men of effort, who believe in Karma. A fatalist suffers humiliation in this world and has no salvation in the next. The biggest mistake is made by the person who blames his fate after seeing others happy, prosperous, and successful. He does not know that he is not just blaming his fate, but he is considering the God hidden within himself as incapable and weak. When you say "I cannot do it, my fate itself is bad," you insult the very God who gave you this human life. This only shows your ignorance. He who has seen life only through the lens of his ego can never know that God is omnipotent. An egoistic person thinks "I am doing it," and when he fails, he says "My fa...

Purushartha - The Only Path to Freedom from the Mind and Attainment of the Divine

Image
There are only two paths in a human life - one is to live according to the mind, and the other is to live according to a purpose. The one who follows the mind wanders his whole life, and the one who follows his purpose is called a man of Purushartha. What is Purushartha? Purushartha means - the meaning of being a Purusha (a conscious being), the relentless effort made for the purpose of one's life. In scriptures, four Purusharthas are mentioned - Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. But the foundation of all of them is one - continuous effort. To cross this infinite journey of birth and death, only the Purushartha of a human being becomes the support. Animals live according to their fate and nature, but humans have a choice. He can either keep crying over fate, or he can write a new fate with his Purushartha. One who believes in fate is never liberated A person who believes in fate can never take the support of Purushartha. He thinks - "Whatever is in luck, I will get it." Th...

The Tale of Two Birds - The Journey from Jiva to Shiva*

Image
The Tale of Two Birds - The Journey from Jiva to Shiva We humans, living life like ignorant beings, do everything in this life — we earn money, build relationships, run after fame and respect — but our attention never goes towards attaining that divine power which is the reason for our existence and for this entire world. The one who has given us this whole system, this body, this breath, this intellect, we deny Him as if He does not exist at all. Our mind has kept us bound to this world. Even if the Supreme Soul wants to, He cannot free us, because we ourselves do not want to be free. We have mistaken bondage itself for happiness. The one whom we should remember first, we have forgotten. The human mind is filled with worldly desires; it does not know how to turn towards God. The mind never gets satisfied even after enjoying countless pleasures. As soon as one desire is fulfilled, another is born. Then what is that, after attaining which, the mind never falls into sorrow?  ...

Karma Is Life: How Today's Actions Shape Tomorrow's Destiny - Gita Gyan

Image
Karma Is Life: How Today's Actions Shape Tomorrow's Destiny Have you ever wondered why some people are always happy while others always struggle? The answer is hidden in one word - KARMA. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says - "Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshu Kadachana". It means you have the right to do your karma, but not to the fruit of your actions. The Law of Karma: How Our Actions Create Our Destiny Human life is bound by karma. We are always engaged in some action or the other. It is because of karma that the cycle of birth and death continues. The law is simple - good actions bring good fruits and bad actions bring bad fruits. Because of this web of karma, a person experiences joy and sorrow. Happiness does not come from outside. Happiness is the prasad, the blessed result of our own good deeds. And sorrow is not given by any enemy. Sorrow is also the result of our own bad deeds. Without Karma, The World Cannot Run Think for a moment, what would happen ...

Why does the mind not stay in the present? The cure for the restlessness of the past and future

Image
Article: How is the world born from the mind? Our sages have said - the world is born from the mind. It is the mind itself that has trapped the living being in the clutches of death. If there were no mind, the fear of death would also end. Otherwise, God is one and the same in all. One single consciousness is working in everyone. But the mind experiences the world from different perspectives. It sees happiness in one thing and sorrow in another. This is what creates duality. The biggest problem with the mind is that it never stays in the present. It always keeps you in the illusion of getting more. If I get this now, then I will get that - life ends in this very race. The Disease of Past and Future The whole game of the mind is of the past and the future. All its thoughts are either of the past or of the future. Thoughts of the past create regret - I wish this had happened, I wish that had not happened. And thoughts of the future create hope and fear - whether this will happen or ...

_What is the Biggest Illusion of Life? Mind is the Seed of This World_

Image
What is the illusion of life? We are all living in a very big illusion. We think that this world created by the mind is the truth. Whatever we see with our eyes, whatever we hear with our ears, we believe it to be real. But the scriptures say that the vast Supreme Soul (Paramatma) behind this world can never be seen with the eyes of the mind. To see that Paramatma, it is absolutely necessary for the mind to dissolve. How is the mind the seed of the world? Look at any tree. It is born from a tiny seed. The seed is not visible as a tree, but the entire tree is hidden inside it. In the same way, the mind is the root seed of this world. The mind is not visible, but this entire visible world is created from it. That is why it is written in the scriptures - _Mind itself is the world._ Freedom from the Mind That is why the wise have said, do not become a slave of the mind, but make the mind your slave. One who is a slave to the mind is miserable. One who is the master of the mind is happ...

What Is The Mind? Mind Is The World - First Step To Liberation In Avadhuta Gita

Image
Om Dattatreya Namah Why Is Our Life Going In Vain? Every person today is troubled by the same question - Why is there no peace? We work hard from morning to evening, earn money, do everything for our family, yet we cannot sleep at night. The reason is not outside, it is inside. Our entire life is spent in slavery of the mind. Whatever the mind says, we do. But we never become free from this mind. That is why we fall into sorrows and our whole life becomes wasted. The cycle of birth and death continues only because of this. How to get freedom from this mind? This is the main purpose of this blog. What Is The Definition Of Mind? In our scriptures, especially in *Avadhuta Gita and Ashtavakra Gita*, it is clearly written - *The Mind Itself Is The World (Man Hi Sansar Hai).* Mind is not an object. Mind is a flow of thoughts. Just as water keeps flowing in a river, thoughts keep flowing in the mind. A person whose mind is not in control considers this visible world as the only truth. He...

What is Life? Life is a Priceless Gift from God*

Image
What is life? Is it just eating, drinking, earning and leaving this world one day? No. Life is a priceless gift given by the Supreme God. And the person who understands the value of this gift, only he goes to the shelter of God in the end. In reality, only a person who has fallen into sorrows in life can take refuge in God. Because in happiness we forget God. When everything is going well, we don't remember God. 1. For the one who gets everything, the world itself is the truth - Birth of Vairagya The person who gets everything easily in life - money, house, family, job, respect - for him the world is everything. For him this is the only truth. He never looks inside. He thinks happiness is in outside things. In a new car, in a big house, in bank balance, in people's applause. That person who looks outside, searches for happiness outside only. But this is his biggest mistake. He thinks that if one more wish is fulfilled then he will get peace, but it never happens. When a person...
