Purushartha - The Only Path to Freedom from the Mind and Attainment of the Divine

Image
There are only two paths in a human life - one is to live according to the mind, and the other is to live according to a purpose. The one who follows the mind wanders his whole life, and the one who follows his purpose is called a man of Purushartha. What is Purushartha? Purushartha means - the meaning of being a Purusha (a conscious being), the relentless effort made for the purpose of one's life. In scriptures, four Purusharthas are mentioned - Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. But the foundation of all of them is one - continuous effort. The mind never gets satisfied even after enjoying countless pleasures. As soon as one desire is fulfilled, another is born. Then what is that, after attaining which, the mind never falls into sorrow?  ...

Image
A person who believes in fate unknowingly drags his own life towards hell. The one who says at every step, "Everything is destiny, whatever is written in fate will happen," actually cuts the thread of his own life with his own hands. Such a person always remains subordinate to those who are men of effort, who believe in Karma. A fatalist suffers humiliation in this world and has no salvation in the next. The biggest mistake is made by the person who blames his fate after seeing others happy, prosperous, and successful. He does not know that he is not just blaming his fate, but he is considering the God hidden within himself as incapable and weak. When you say "I cannot do it, my fate itself is bad," you insult the very God who gave you this human life. This only shows your ignorance. He who has seen life only through the lens of his ego can never know that God is omnipotent. An egoistic person thinks "I am doing it," and when he fails, he says "My fa...
