What is Life? Life is a Priceless Gift from God*

 What is life? Is it just eating, drinking, earning and leaving this world one day? No. Life is a priceless gift given by the Supreme God. And the person who understands the value of this gift, only he goes to the shelter of God in the end.

In reality, only a person who has fallen into sorrows in life can take refuge in God. Because in happiness we forget God. When everything is going well, we don't remember God.

1. For the one who gets everything, the world itself is the truth - Birth of Vairagya

The person who gets everything easily in life - money, house, family, job, respect - for him the world is everything. For him this is the only truth. He never looks inside. He thinks happiness is in outside things. In a new car, in a big house, in bank balance, in people's applause.

That person who looks outside, searches for happiness outside only. But this is his biggest mistake. He thinks that if one more wish is fulfilled then he will get peace, but it never happens.

When a person does not understand anything in life, when all his paths are closed, when he is surrounded by an ocean of sorrow, then he runs towards where he can find peace. And peace is not outside, it is inside. Then he starts looking inside. Sorrow is the first door that takes us inward.

2. Only the one who looks inside surrenders completely

The one who looks outside will always keep demanding. He will feel that if he gets this, he will get happiness, if he gets that, he will get peace. His demand never ends. But only the one who looks inside completely surrenders to God.

Because he understands that God is within himself. He resides inside us. We don't need to go to the Himalayas to find God, he is sitting in our own heart.

As long as we search for happiness outside, we are beggars. The day we start looking inside, we become kings. Because inside, in God, there is an infinite storehouse of happiness. That happiness is such that it cannot be obtained from anything in this world. Even the most expensive thing in the world cannot give that bliss which is obtained in a moment in the shelter of God.

The person who looks outside sees happiness outside only, therefore he always remains unhappy.

3. The happiness of the world gives emptiness - Mind is the cause of sorrow

This is the biggest truth. The happiness of the world in the end gives emptiness. Today every person is a victim of this emptiness. Look around - everyone has everything, yet everyone is troubled. Someone cannot sleep, someone cannot find peace, someone's mind is restless.

Why? Because the happiness that the world gives, turns into sorrow. The thing which is giving happiness today, tomorrow will become the cause of sorrow. You buy a new mobile, you will be happy for 2 days, on the third day it will seem old. This is the rule of the world.

But the happiness which is in the shelter of God, never turns into sorrow. It is permanent, immortal. It is the giver of supreme happiness and supreme peace. Worldly people will say to him that you must be very sad because you got nothing in the world. No big house, no money. But that same person is the happiest from inside. Because he has attained what cannot be attained with money.

4. Our soul needs God

Our soul does not need the world, it needs God. It loves only Him. The soul has love for God and God has love for all souls. This relationship is beyond body and mind.

But the body and mind see happiness in the world only. It questions life. It sees what it does not have. When everything is obtained, one day it knows that even after getting everything, nothing was obtained. Only the one who lives in the shelter of God knows that happiness is only in the shelter of God.

The one who has never seen happiness within himself, how will he take refuge in God? Because God himself is within the self.

5. The path of destruction in Kalyug

In reality, this is the path of destruction in Kalyug - to see happiness outside and to hope to get happiness from everyone except God. We expect from humans that they will give us happiness, we expect from money that it will give us peace.

Happiness cannot be obtained without taking refuge in God, without having faith in him. To spend a life without God is to waste life.

Therefore, consider your life as a priceless gift from God. Consider this body as a temple in which God is sitting. When this understanding comes, you will stop running and will go into his shelter. And where there is shelter, there is 

real life. There is supreme happiness there.
